The Pillow Case Project
Jane Morris started the Pillow Case Project with a friend at Glenwood First Baptist Church five years ago. Hospice Home Care is proud to receive dozens of these handmade treasures to pass along to hospice patients living at home, in nursing homes, care homes and assisted living facilities throughout our service area.
"These lovely, bright colored cases bring joy to our patients and their families. Just knowing someone is thinking about them during this difficult season of life is comforting," says Hot Springs Executive Director, Kelly Rice, RN.
Jane says that she has never had to purchase any of the material or thread for this special project, "God just blesses me." Just yesterday, someone provided 50 yards of fabric for the Pillow Case Project adn then someone else gave her thread. Jane says it just always happens that way, and dshe continues to sew.
