Hospice Home Care now offers the most difficult and underutilized level of care under the Medicare Federal Hospice Benefit – Continuous Care. Not all hospice companies provide this service to patients and their families.

Grief is as unique as an individual fingerprint, but it is in the support of others who have grieved that we find a common understanding. It is in that moment when we are brave enough to share our thoughts with a fellow griever, and they nod, smile and understand, that we know that we are not alone.

The Care Management Team at Area Agency on Aging of West Central Arkansas recently received Certificates of Completion and Angel Pins for completing professional end-of-life credentialing & training. Attendees included; Barbara Flowers, Laura Westmoreland, RN, Jean Mustard, Dorothy Brennan, Trisha Mack, RN and Carla Caldwell. The group completed eight educational modules presented by Hospice Home Care’s Patient Care Representative, Cyndi Muncrief.

When Heaven Evans needed extra help to cope with her life-limiting illness, she and her family decided to allow Spring Valley Hospice to provide support. They may not have imagined then that this group of caring professionals would become like a second family and go so far to create lasting and cherished memories together with them.
