grief support

Our Bereavement Support Program includes various educational and support services designed to provide a friendly environment for exploring feelings of grief and healing. Our bereavement office coordinates bereavement care for each family and this support is available for thirteen months as part of Hospice Home Care support. More support is available upon request.

Grief continues well after loss occurs. Most cope with grief in an individual manner. Some need extra help and support. The first year can be extremely difficult. Some find it helpful to talk with others going through a similar experience. There fore, in addition to the usual support services of bereavement care, Hospice Home Care provides  Support Groups.

  • Meetings are free of charge
  • Meetings are open to families and loved ones of Hospice Home Care patients or members of the community

Please contact our Bereavement Office 501-336-9172/1-800-479-8233 if you would like more information on one of our support groups.

learn about us
Hospice treats the person, instead of the disease; focuses on the family, instead of just the individual; and emphasizes the quality of life, instead of its duration. Hospice care allows terminally ill patients and their families to experience the end of life together, in the comfort and security of home or a home-like setting.   > more
